My name is Gladys Amule. I am 20 years old. I grew up in Amach-Lira, Northern Uganda. I come from a family of 11, I am the eldest of 8 siblings.
I will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in English Literature at Johannes Gutenberg Mainz University. English has been a language that I have been wanting to study and teach others with. Literature too because I love reading novels, and analysing the contents and the intentions of the writers. This helps to expand my knowledge and thinking abilities.
Daniel Blessing Bakaluba

My name is Bakaluba Blessing Daniel, and I am a 26-year-old aspiring scholar in sustainable agriculture. I was born and raised in South West Uganda, a place which was once popularly known as the Switzerland of Africa, but currently it is called Kigezi District.
In my spare time, I enjoy meeting with friends, going to the cinema, eating in a nice restaurant, or just talking and learning about other people. I also like reading about current affairs and watching the news. Although I do not define myself as sporty, I enjoy playing soccer with friends, for the fun of it.
Here in Uganda, I am a small-scale mixed subsistence farmer and an agricultural extension worker. I am specialized in horticulture, poultry, cuniculture and duck farming. Farming is more than a business to me, its passion with a mission. I want to inspire the other people, especially the youth, to take up farming because it is life changing and awakens hope to change the world.
Trevor Gumisiriza

I am Gumisiriza Trevor, a 24-year-old Ugandan student-to-be, loyal to my faith in God and with high moral standards. I am so honored to be part of the few students selected to this scholarship program to study and reach my goals, and I cannot wait to be part of the German community. As a person, I like meeting new people, especially to get friends worldwide, and to be beneficial to the community. In my free time, my curiosity and eagerness in learning drives me to socializing, which comes along with activities like playing football and other games, watching documentaries and listening to music. I am also a passionate photographer, which I have worked with since I graduated high school.
I completed my Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education in 2016 at Aidan College High School, and people around see me as hardworking and devoted to accomplishment of tasks that are assigned to me. My high ambition has motivated me, as far as to come to Kamp-Lintfort to be studying a Bachelor of Science in Mobility and Logistics at Rhine-Waal University. I am so interested and eager to start studying this program, first of all because of the good academic system in Germany. Second, because of the new knowledge I am to achieve within management and trade, which will be of great importance to the Ugandan and German economy and community respectively. And last, I am looking forward to learning everything about the German culture, which can make me grow as a human.
Rachel Apio Omara

My name is Rachel Apio Omara. I am sociable, compassionate and flexible in a way that allows me to easily adapt to any kind of norms of another society. I love watching movies and this counts as my hobby. My personal interest is to be a teacher, and particularly an English/Literature teacher. After my acquisition of knowledge in English I want to impart the same to others and be a role model to many.
Johnson Clever Ggalabuzi

My name is Johnson Clever Ggalabuzi. I am a Ugandan aged 23 years living in a village called Bunamwaya. I come from an extended family living with my two cousins and my biological sister. I am the first born with two sister siblings and a young brother. Currently we don’t live with our parents.
I will be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics at Deggendorf institute of Technology. I am determined to work hard and excel to my best so that I can support my young siblings and serve any society I will be working with. During my leisure time when I am done with my daily tasks, I spend some time in the gym doing some fitness workouts and on other days I play volleyball as well as watch movies. I also love doing community work or tasks when available.

My name is Ziriko Ponsiano, I was born and raised in Kampala the capital city of Uganda.
I am so passionate about Agriculture and am hoping to practice it at a professional level after my studies. I have a special interest in animal science as it will equip me with knowledge on how to maximize livestock products.
I enjoy working with other people given the mutual support offered to each other, exploring new places, watching movies and playing football as a hobby.
